The ONH team successfully supported Stoke Poges Parish Council in a planning application case where the build out of a home owner's extension substantially differed from the original approved design. The Council contended that there had also been significant changes in planning policy, with the Neighbourhood Plan having progressed and Buckinghamshire Council creating a Local Heritage List which included the building next door to the site.

In a case that made both the Bucks Free Press and the Daily Mail, there were significant differences to the roof, windows and garage. ONH were able to analyse the exact, substantive, differences between the approved design and the development as built, drafting a response with the Council that reflected both local views and a vigorous planning assessment.

In this case, the planning committee went against the officer's report in making their decision, with issues raised by the Parish Council given significant weight.

ONH has been delighted to support Stoke Poges Parish Council in preparing their planning representations for the case. We know the parish particularly well as we have also been working together on a neighbourhood plan for the parish, which was successful at the referendum last week. Congratulations to the team!
